In my career as a Lead Interior Designer, there was never enough time to do everything I needed to do, nor did I have enough hands. So when I chose to open my freelance interior design studio after maternity leave and a pandemic (which did technically give me more hands, though I wouldn’t trust them with any drawing work), I knew I could be the thing that people in my position needed.
Beneath the drawing work, materials and meetings — interior design is all about solving problems, both for clients and their clients. I am thrilled that Stiwdio Mizzi-Harris can solve the problem of needing highly specialised freelance support and ad-hoc assistance.
Take these off your plate
A temporary team member for designs that last
With over a decade working alongside some incredible design and architecture teams, I’ve helped over 30+ clients in the past 4 years alone: so whether you’ve got an upcoming deadline, need some annual leave cover, or are currently experiencing a busy season. I can seamlessly become part of the team effort.
I’ve got plenty of experience dealing with every step of the interior design journey, from concept to drawing packs to RIBA stages to technical detailing to specifications. You get the gist!
I love using Revit, AutoCAD and Vectorworks as much as a detailed furniture specification (am I the only one who loves a good spreadsheet?)
When I’m not getting stuck into all things freelance support, you will find me hosting Design and Build podcast, lecturing at the University of South Wales, teaching and creating Revit resources for interior design teams, and organising Doo:zie networking events for the South West’s A&D community.
Outside of the interior design world, you can usually find me filling up my cup by reading cosy crime books, drinking tea, taking local beach walks, binging a good series, and hanging out with my family and friends. I love these moments, and I love that my work helps you create more of your version of them too!
Think we'd work well together?
I'd love to hear about your current challenges and see if I'm the right fit to help your team.
